- Basmati rice: 2 cups
- Water: 3 3/4 cup
- Ghee: 1 tbsp
- Bay leaf: 2
- Cloves: 4
- Cinnamon stick: 1
- Pepper corns: 5
- Salt: 1/2 tbsp
Gravy:
- Oil: 2 tbsp
- Eggs: 6
- Cinnamon stick: 2
- Cloves: 4-5

- Cardamom pods: 3
- Onion: 2 chopped
- Tomato: 2 chopped
- Coriander leaves: 1/2 cup
- Mint leaves: 1/2 cup
- Green chilies: 5
- Ginger: 1 inch
- Garlic flakes: 4-5
- Cumin powder: 1 tsp
- Chilly powder: 1/2 tsp
- Garam masala powder: 2 tsp
- Vinegar: 1 tsp
- Pepper powder: 1 tsp
- Water: 1 cup
- Salt
Garnishing:
- Oil: 2 tbsp
- Sliced onion: 1
- Coriander leaves
Preparation:
- Chop onions and tomatoes.
- Prepare paste out of coriander leaves, mint leaves, green chilies, ginger, garlic, cumin powder and chilly powder. Keep it aside.
- Heat 2 tbsp of oil in a pan, fry sliced onions until brown. Keep aside.

- In a rice cooker or pressure cooker, add 2 cups of basmati rice, add all the ingredients mentioned under rice and cook till done.
For the Gravy:
- Heat 2 tbsp of oil in a pan.
- Add cinnamon stick, pepper corns, bay leaf, cardamom and cloves and fry little.
- Then add chopped onions. Fry till golden brown.
- Add chopped tomatoes. And cook until soft.
- Add the paste we prepared. Cook for 2 mins.
- Add garam masala powder, vinegar and pepper powder and mix.
- Add a cup of water and cook.
- When it starts boiling, add eggs one by one directly in to the gravy.
I beat the eggs separately and then made small half boiled omelettes and then added to the gravy one by one. - Do not mix until its boiled completely.
- Once its done, mix.
Serve:
- Take a bowl greased with ghee.
- Add a layer of cooked rice.
- Then add a layer of gravy.
- Add fried onions and coriander leaves in between layers.
- Continue these steps, end with rice.
- Garnish on top with fried onions.
- Serve hot.

Prepare small omelette and add it one by one.
Add vinegar, pepper powder and garam masala
While serving, put a layer of rice and the gravy, continue.
