  • Chicken Breast : 500 g
  • Fresh Lemon juice: 100 ml
  • Chopped Garlic : 1 tbsp
  • Lemon zest : 2 tbsp
  • Italian seasoning : 1 tbsp
  • Salt : 1.5 tsp
  • Pepper : 1 tsp
  • Sugar : 1/2 tbsp
  • Water : 100 ml ( optional )
  • Corn flour ( 1/2 tbsp ) mixed in half cup of water
  • Cilantro/ Coriander leaves
  • Cut chicken breast in to small rectangular pieces.
  • Chop garlic flakes and grate lemon zest.
  • Keep lemon juice ready.
  • Take lemon juice in a bowl, add Lemon zest, Chopped garlic, Italian seasoning, Salt and Pepper powder . Mix well.
  • Add the cut chicken pieces in to it, mix well and marinate for about an hour or two in a refrigerator.
  • Preheat the oven to 425 degree centigrade .
  • Place the chicken pieces in an oven safe tray. Do not add the marinade. Keep the marinade separate as we will need it later. Brush melted butter over the chicken pieces.
  • Bake it for 25 mins at 425 degree centigrade.
Now to prepare sauce:
  • Take the marinade in a saucepan. Add Sugar, Water and few Cilantro and bring it to boil. Now add Corn flour mixed wit water, keep on mixing. The sauce thickens little bit. 
  • Add the baked chicken pieces and stir so that the chicken pieces gets coated with the sauce.
  • Serve it in a serving dish.
  • Garnish with Cilantro and Lemon slices.
