This was my first experiment with cupcakes. I used the same recipe which I use to make simple egg cake and the cupcakes came out good.



Ingredients :

All purpose floor/Maida : 1 and 1/2 cup
Butter : 1 cup
Sugar : 1 cup ( powdered ) 
Egg : 4 small eggs/ 3 large ( whipped )
Baking powder : 1 tsp
Vanilla essence : 1 tsp

Method :
  • Sieve all purpose flour and baking powder together.
  • Mix sugar and butter , and make a smooth paste out of it.
  • Now add whipped egg to sugar butter mixture one by one and keep on mixing.
  • Add all purpose flour to this one spoon at a time and keep on mixing .
  • Add vanilla essence. Mix well
  • Preheat oven to 325 F.
  • Grease the cupcake pan wit butter and sprinkle flour over it. Add the cake mixture in to the cups until it is 3/4 filled. 
  • You can place cashews , choco chips over the cake mixture for decoration.
  • Once the oven is heated to required temperature, place the baking dish in oven, bake for 15-16 mins till toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  • Remove from oven . Allow it to cool,  remove the cupcakes from baking dish.

  1. Looks good are we folding in the dry ingredients? And am I to wipp the eggs separately and then add them to the butter sugar mixture?

    1. Actually i added few cashews and raisens while mixing. And then later few on top for decoration.
      Ya i whipped eggs seperately.. So that it ll b easy to mix :)
