Chicken sukka is similar to prawn sukka recipe which I posted last week, the only difference is the ingredient(chicken) and the cooking time is little more. 

Preparation time: 40 mins , Serves : 6

Ingredients:

  • Chicken : 1 Pound
  • Chilly Powder: 2 tsp(adjust according to spice level)
  • Coriander Powder: 2tsp
  • Cumin Powder: 1/2 tsp
  • Turmeric: 1/2 tsp
  • Salt: To taste
  • Grated coconut: 1 cup
  • Oil: 2 tbsp
  • Garam masala : 1 tsp (optional)
  • Tomato: 2
  • Onion: 1Big onion
  • Ginger Garlic Paste:2tsp 
  • Curry Leaves to garnish
Preparation:
  • Grate Coconut and keep aside.( or else get grated coconut)
  • Chop onions and tomato into small pieces

Method:
  •  Take a Pan add oil and heat it, once heated add Ginger Garlic Paste stir it, then add Onion ,heat it till it turns brown and soft.
  • Now add Tomato and saute it until its cooked ( about 2 mins).
  • After that add chilly powder, coriander powder , turmeric and cumin powder keep mixing as you heat it, make sure no clumps are left.
  • Now add Chicken mix it, cook under medium flame(until chicken is cooked).
  • Add Salt according to Your taste, mix.
  • Then add Grated coconut and mix, cook for about 2 mins and then add garam masala(optional),mix.
  • Garnish with Curry leaves .
  • Chicken sukka is ready, serve it Neer Dosa or Rice
