Butter chicken / chicken Makhani is one of the most popular Indian Curry wordwide.
 
INGREDIENTS :
  • Chicken breast : 1 kg
  • Onion : 2 big 
  • Ginger-Garlic paste : 1/2 tsp
  • Garlic : 5 cloves
  • Cashew nut : 1/2 cup ( make paste )
  • Butter : 2 tbsp
  • Chilly powder : 2 tsp
  • Kasoori Methi : 1 tsp
  • Turmeric powder : 1/4 tsp
  • Coriander powder : 1 tsp
  • Cumin powder : 1/2 tsp
  • Heavy cream : 2 tbsp
  • Tomato : 2 
  • Tomato puree : 2 tbsp
  • Oil
  • Coriander leaves : 2 tsp ( finely chopped )
  • Salt : to taste
  • Sugar : 1/2 tsp
METHOD 
  • Cut chicken breast in to small pieces.
  • Fry 2 chopped onions and tomatoes and make paste of it.
  • Smear the vessel with butter and add finely chopped garlic .
  • When it turns golden brown, Add chicken breast and fry.
  • Add salt.
  • Add turmeric , coriander and cumin powder and ginger-garlic paste then fry together.
  • Add onion tomato paste and cashew nut paste.
  • Then add tomato puree. Saute it well.
  • Once the chicken is cooked , add kasoori methi, heavy cream and sugar .
  • Garnish with finely chopped coriander leaves.
