Butter chicken / chicken Makhani is one of the most popular Indian Curry wordwide.

- Chicken breast : 1 kg
- Onion : 2 big
- Ginger-Garlic paste : 1/2 tsp
- Garlic : 5 cloves
- Cashew nut : 1/2 cup ( make paste )
- Butter : 2 tbsp
- Chilly powder : 2 tsp
- Kasoori Methi : 1 tsp
- Turmeric powder : 1/4 tsp
- Coriander powder : 1 tsp
- Cumin powder : 1/2 tsp
- Heavy cream : 2 tbsp
- Tomato : 2
- Tomato puree : 2 tbsp
- Oil
- Coriander leaves : 2 tsp ( finely chopped )
- Salt : to taste
- Sugar : 1/2 tsp
METHOD
- Cut chicken breast in to small pieces.
- Fry 2 chopped onions and tomatoes and make paste of it.
- Smear the vessel with butter and add finely chopped garlic .
- When it turns golden brown, Add chicken breast and fry.
- Add salt.
- Add turmeric , coriander and cumin powder and ginger-garlic paste then fry together.
- Add onion tomato paste and cashew nut paste.
- Then add tomato puree. Saute it well.
- Once the chicken is cooked , add kasoori methi, heavy cream and sugar .
- Garnish with finely chopped coriander leaves.
