Ingredients :

Oil- 2-3 tbsp

Sliced almonds- 1/2 cup
Whole dry red chilly- 2

Chopped Garlic- 1 tbsp
Chilly powder- 1 1/2 tsp
Almond paste- 2 tbsp
Tomato puree- 2 tbsp
Garam masala- 3/4 tsp
Chopped coriander leaves- a hand full
Salt according to taste

Marination :

Boneless Chicken- 1 lb
Pepper powder- a pinch
Turmeric powder- 1/2 tsp
Salt- a pinch

Method :

  • Clean and cut chicken into small pieces . 
  • Marinate chicken with the above mentioned ingredients(under marination) for at least half n hour.

  • Heat oil in a pan. Roast almonds till its slightly golden in color. Take it out and keep it aside.
  • In the same pan add dry chilies and saute it for a minute. Then add chopped garlic to it. Saute it for few seconds.
  • Add marinated chicken to this and fry it for sometime ( 3 mins )
  • Add Chilly powder, Almond paste and tomato puree and mix it with chicken.
  • Close the lid and let the chicken cook ( 3 mins)
  • Add salt ( if needed )
  • Next add Roasted almonds and garam masala. Mix it.
  • Sprinkle finely chopped coriander leaves for garnishing.
