Preparation time: 30 mins
Refrigerate 4-5 hours
Serves: 10-12

INGREDIENTS:

Milk: 1 and 1/2 cup
Sugar: 3/4 cup
Gelatin: 1 and 1/2 tbsp
Pineapple chunks: 1 cup (Chopped small pieces)
Pineapple juice: 1 cup (see below)
Fresh Cream/Heavy whipping cream: 1 cup
Vanilla Custard Powder: 1 tbsp
Vanilla extract:1 tsp

METHOD:

First let us prepare custard. Mix 1tbsp of custard powder to 1/2 cup of milk. Mix it such that no clumps remain. Keep aside.
Take 1 cup pineapple water in a wide bowl, sprinkle 1 and 1/2 tbsp of gelatin on the top and let it rest for 5 mins.

*I used canned pineapple which is available in the store. Each can has pineapple chunks or slices with pineapple juice inside it. I used the same juice which I mentioned above as pineapple juice.
Heat 1 cup milk in a bowl, add 3/4 cup sugar to it, mix. When the milk boils, add custard which we prepared. Simmer it for 2 mins, mixing occasionally.
Add the pineapple juice along with the gelatin to the warm milk/custard. Mix well so that the gelatin dissolves.
Turn off the flame. And then add 1 cup of heavy whipping cream/fresh cream, pineapple chunks, and vanilla extract. Mix well.
Pour into a wide bowl, or small different bowls. Keep it aside. When its room temperature, refrigerate for at least 4-5 hours.
