Ingredients:
  • Chicken 500g
  • Oil
  • Onion - 1 large sliced or 3 small onions ( thin slices )
  • Chopped Garlic -1 tbsp
  • Chopped Ginger -1 tbsp
  • Green chilies - 2-3
  • Soya sauce -1tbsp
  • Red chilly sauce - 1tbsp
  • Green chilly sauce - 2 tbsp
  • Corn flour - 1 tbsp in half cup water

For Marination:

  • Salt
  • Chilly powder : 1and 1/2 tsp
  • Corn Flour : 2 tbsp
  • Egg : 1
  • Turmeric powder : 1 tsp
  • Ginger garlic paste : 1 tbsp
  • Vinegar : 1 tbsp

Method :

  • Marinate chicken with all the ingredients under marination and keep aside at least for an hour.
  • Take pan , deep fry the marinated chicken and then keep it aside.
  • Take Skillet, add 3 tbsp oil
  • Add sliced onion , fry it until it becomes slight brown and soft
  • Add chopped garlic and chopped ginger
  • Add 2-3 sliced green chillies 
  • Then add 1tbsp of soya sauce and 1 tbsp of red chilly sauce and 2 tbsp of green chilly sauce.
  • Add corn flour mixed with water
  • Add fried chicken
  • See the taste if salt is enough, if u need more add little salt.
  • Cook till chicken is soft.

NOTES :

1)You can add capsicum/bell peppers when u add green chillies. I haven't added here, coz i don't like capsicum .
2)You can also marinate chicken with chicken broast masala(only), instead of the above mentioned items and then fry it.

* Instead of corn starch, you can use broast masala itself. Colour of chilly chicken comes out good if you use this masala. But be careful and add salt, coz this masala itself might contain salt.
